I attended one group class with Maria and was deeply touched. Maria took the class to a place where words have no meaning and only the pure essence of life and movement matter. She taught the experience of increased freedom expressed through dance, and ultimately the physical knowing of your very purpose of being alive. She offered massive encouragement and made us feel that every nod of a head, bend of an arm, or tap of a foot is not just special but sacred. She invited us to wipe away shame and replace it with self-love and acceptance of the body’s expression. Maria clearly feels that movement is not just art, but a gift to be cherished regardless of your level. I left our class feeling like I had touched something serenely divine and applied it to my movement in a space where self-doubt simply wasn’t possible. Maria gently reminded my body and soul why I’m dancing. Thank you, Maria!

I've enjoyed taking several dance lessons with Maria Bileychik, and I can't recommend her enough! Maria is an exceptional dance instructor with a unique blend of technical expertise and infectious enthusiasm. Her patience and attitude create a relaxed learning environment where you never feel awkward, even if you struggle with a particular concept. Additionally, Maria has helped me become more expressive in my dance, allowing me to convey emotions through my movements. Aside from being one of the kindest people you will ever meet, Maria has a mountain of knowledge that comes from her extensive dance background. What a glowing light in our dance community! It was through having Maria as my mentor the past year, that my dance journey truly blossomed. I went from wanting to just make a competitive point, to wanting to embody an artist. She inspires creativity & authenticity in her students while creating an open & comfortable environment to do so. She not only offers her mastery of west coast swing to teach her students proper technique but encourages her students to move, create, & inspire. Maria holds a mother-like role in the Dallas community which comes naturally as she is a mother of three kiddos of her own. Maria Bileychik not only provides excellent technical advice, but she is also personable and genuinely a kind and loving individual. She makes her workshops fun for everyone and creates a safe space to learn.

Maria is a delight and detail oriented. She’s articulate, and while her talent as a teacher is so broad, she’s one of the best to go to for footwork. Her kindness is as huge as her talent; however, she will make sure to correct mistakes and improve your dance with each lesson, group lesson or intensive. Without a doubt she’s one of the teachers I feel gives me something to walk away and work on from group lessons and workshops. Make no mistake she’s there to teach, and she’s great at it, but also she’s an incredible, loving human.

Maria amazed me from the first class I attended. The fact is, Maria is an exceptional and talented dancer. Maria is more than that. She is an exceptional instructor. It is rare that one can find both qualities in one person. What makes her so special is her kind and positive approach. She is always encouraging. I have watched her instruct all levels of dancers and drawing out the best in them. Her classes are fun and forgiving while promoting growth.

Even though I’ve worked with Maria only a short amount of time, I’ve absolutely loved each experience! Each private was super impactful and inspirational that completely changed my confidence within my dance and my dancing itself! I love how supportive and patient she is when explaining the techniques that could be added into your movement and musicality. I'm Beyond impressed by Maria. What I noticed and experienced with Maria is. First, you'll easily acknowledge how talented, attention to detail, musicality, soul expressing she is on and off the dance floor. Not to mention how much she cares for people In general. Since Day One of working with her I felt at ease during classes. When working on a private she listens, observes to your way of learning and uses all of here life experiences to teach concepts In ways where one is able to implement quickly and be challenged on top of that. Shes Strict when needed. From technical fundamental explanations to storytelling and painting moving images purely with words, Maria is truly a poetic soul when it comes to dancing and so shall you too! Adding to that for visual learners. She's grate at mirroring footwork & aware of not being a blind spot where you might of missed visual cues. All in all with high regards María Is a blessing to have learned from. As fun as dancing is I find it to be a life journey. Well if you’re looking for an amazing instructor you’ve hit the lottery! She is one of my favorite instructors across the DFW area . Why I enjoy working with her is because of her background ground in Ballroom, ballet and West Coast Swing. She really knows how to zoom in on the fundamentals , and since she has fundamental training in these dances , she really understands how to use and train the body from the toe to the crown of the head. Her group classes are always a blast. In my opinion she takes care of the student very well. She has her own method of teaching that worked for me. She understands about frame , shape , expansion, contraction, swing , sway , she’s one of the best followers I know. She’s so patient,caring , and confident! Also she always takes time to stretch and warm the student up in group class! Always makes it fun.

Maria excels as a dance instructor, demonstrating a keen ability to understand her students' objectives and guide them towards success through detailed explanations, whether in face-to-face sessions or through instructional videos. Beyond her technical expertise, she also encourages her students to dance confidently from the heart.

Working with Maria is working with someone you know at the end of a lesson is not only passionate about teaching and dance, but passionate about her individual students growth, and passionate about them finding and keeping joy in the process of becoming their best. She puts so much of her heart and effort into preparing for lessons to make sure that you get the most of your time together, and that you are able to leave with something tangible and valuable to immediately start seeing improvement in your dance. She has a way of reminding you that there’s space for you on the dance floor, and that the space you take up on the floor, in competitions, in the community, and in life, matters. Having her as a teacher isn’t about her teaching you how to become “like” anyone else, it’s support in becoming more yourself, and having confidence in who that dancer is. She gives us the tools to explore, become, express, and create to the best of our ability.
